Cleaning wheels/rims is perhaps the biggest challenge and one of the most discussed topics in the car wash industry. For optimal cleaning of the rims, the right combination of technology, chemistry and brush material is of key importance. PX material is the most commonly used material for wheel brushes. PX material consists of an extruded polyethylene with a thickness of 1 mm and is relatively cheap and maintenance-free. The thin hairs with X-profile ensure an optimal cleaning result, even between narrow spokes of car rims.

Brushcom can equip every brand of car wash system with new wheel brushes. PX material is available on flexible brush mats available in Ø91mm, Ø115mm and Ø120mm. The brush mats can be mounted on the shafts of almost every car wash system. Besides this, it's also possible to choose for the Brushcom Easy Fix system. Easy Fix segments consist of a solid plastic core equipped with PX material. These segments can be pushed on the shaft of almost every car wash system and this makes (dis)assembly easy and effortless. Easy Fix wheel brushes are modular and can be assembled according to specific requests. Also it’s possible to replace individual segments when individual segments are worn.
