About Mitters

Mitters is a generic term for car wash portals that are equipped with long textile strips that clean cars by rubbing. Mitters are available in different variants; side-to-side, front-to-back or as a carousel. The mitter is generally used for three applications: as a washing mitter, polish mitter or drying mitter. The washing mitter is mainly used in American car wash systems. In Europe, the topbrush clearly has the upper hand.

Brushcom offers different products to be used in mitter portals. MicroAct and MicroWash textiles, possibly mixed, are extremely suitable for this application. Brushcom has introduced the base part for easier (dis)assembly of mitters. The base part with Velcro fasteners can be mounted around the suspension bars of the mitter system. The mitter strips which are also equipped with Velcro, can be attached easily to these base parts. Mitter strips are available in all desired dimensions and in various colors.
